Heartbeat Alaska: Bethel Flight School aired on October 28, 2005, and featured Yuut Yaqungviat (Where people earn their wings) and their mission to train local Alaska Native pilots to service the state. Alaska has the highest number of pilots per state and relies heavily on air travel. However, there is a shortage of pilots, and this school hopes to train locals to meet that need. The following people appeared in the episode: Will Johnson, Kyle Kaganak, Gene Tagaban, and Sonny Russell.
